| This website is about my home, Castle Cary.
Built in 1478, the castle is located near Castlecary village off the
A80 between
Glasgow and
Stirling in Scotland. The castle is in two halves: old tower is a classic
Scottish tower house, and the new (1679) extension that was built after
the original wing fell down some years before. |
| This website contains images of the features of this classic scottish
tower house, a little of the history
of the castle, the ghosts, and links to some of the people and organisations
that are helping us in the continuing process of restoration and maintenance
of the
building
and garden. |
